David Patterson - Saxophonist
Born in Los Angeles California, David began clarinet at an early age. His love for music picked up considerably when he was given a saxophone by his dad. It was further reinforced when he attended Los Angeles High School, a breeding ground for many young west coast musicians. After high school he attended California State University Dominguez Hills, and graduated from California College of Optical Studies. Immediately after college, David began working in recording studio, live concerts, music videos, and television. David is a dynamic and versatile contemporary jazz saxophonist known for his powerful and soulful approach. His lengthy credits include Prince, Etta James, The Temptations, Layla Hathaway, Freda Payne, Billie Preston, Craig T. Cooper, and many more, currently touring and featured soloist with Grammy winning band Rolls Royce. With 2 CD"s under his belt "That Attitude" & "A Reason To Blow" and putting the finishing touches on his new project he continues to thrive. His sax can be heard on motion picture sound tracks for "Uncle Buck" (John Candy) "Christmas Vacation" (Chevy Chase) "It's Always sunny in Philadelphia" (Danny De Vito).
